Bill Mok is a parent, engineer, and Anglican priest whose diverse life experience shapes his commitment to serving Richmond's students and families. Born in Guangzhou and immigrating to Canada as a teenager, Bill began high school as an English Language Learner, an experience that fuels his empathy for newcomer students and his belief that leadership begins with listening.

Bill earned a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) from McMaster University and spent several years working as a software engineer, developing strengths in logic, systems thinking, and data-driven decision-making. His path later shifted toward community service and pastoral leadership, leading him to complete a Master of Divinity, specializing in holistic education, counseling, and youth development.

Since returning to Richmond in 2020 to care for his aging parents, Bill has become deeply rooted in the community. He serves as a priest at St. Alban's Anglican Church and is the founding pastor of 360 Community, an innovative initiative focused on mental health, family life, and belonging. His work has connected him with organizations such as Vancouver Coastal Health, Richmond Addiction Services Society, and the BC Schizophrenia Society, giving him firsthand insight into the challenges facing local families.

As a father of two, one in university and one in elementary school, Bill brings both professional breadth and personal investment to his candidacy. He emphasizes partnership with parents, safe and supportive schools, and preparing students for success beyond graduation.
